About improvements

Display adjustment

• The game screen of all titles was displayed at the resolution of each original board, but the display method is changed to the aspect ratio of 4:3.
• The display method for the HDMI output has been changed to display the game screen with an aspect ratio of 4:3.
• Lowered the wallpaper resolution.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug in the clear bonus of "Qix".
• Fixed the color loss of the character "Rodomie" in "The Fairyland Story".
• Fixed a bug that the comet in "Halley's Comet" was not redrawn.
• Fixed a bug where the bomber image on the 2P side was distorted in "Kyukyoku Tiger".
• Fixed the background color of the score ranking screen of "Tatsujin".

Specification change

  Changed so that 50 titles are displayed in the top menu when the paddle controller is connected.

  * If you insert the SD card of "Paddle & Trackball Game" after the update, 10 titles will start with the contents before the update.
  If you play in this state, there is a risk that the save data will be inconsistent, so please do not insert the SD card after the update, and connect only the "paddle & trackball controller" to the main unit.

• Adjusted the internal values of the paddle adjustment in the game settings of the three titles "Arkanoid", "Arkanoid Revenge of DOH" and "Plump Pop".

  *If you use old save data without initializing it, it will be used with the old values, so please be sure to initialize it before playing.

• This product is not an online game, so you will be able to play it even if you do not update the main unit.

▼Please understand the following contents before updating.

• Changed the reflection of filtering ON/OFF.

  *If you do not perform "Initialize the main unit" after updating, the display contents will be inherited as they are.

• Various game settings and save data will not be deleted, but if you continue to use it as is, strange behavior may occur. In such case, please initialize the main unit.
• If the power is cut off during the update, please follow the update procedure and start over from the beginning again.
• The screen ratio and HDMI output screen ratio of Egret II Mini main unit will be changed when you update. Once changed, it cannot be undone.

１：Format the SD card

Prepare SD card (at least 512MB) and format it to FAT32.

２：Download update data

Download the update data from the download page on the Egret II Mini official page and save it to the SD card.

３：Update Egret II Mini main unit

Unplug the power cable from Egret II Mini and turn on the power switch, then insert the SD card with the update data into the main unit, and connect the power cable while pressing the E + F button to start the update.
The contents of this time will be reflected when the update is completed.
